Paroles de la chanson Looking for the Happy (Dark-Side Mix) par
Oh, you can imagine
How much the world is changing all around us now?
This fierce intelligence
That challenges the very thing that makes us, us
All the proselytising
Evangelising words so well designed
While the jackal and the joker
Musing in the shadows
Steal the future from the blind
Cut away in the camera
To the baby in the crash
Cut away the circus
You cut away the flesh
Algorithms dancing
But we still fall on our knees
How much the world is changing all around us now?
This fierce intelligence
That challenges the very thing that makes us, us
All the proselytising
Evangelising words so well designed
While the jackal and the joker
Musing in the shadows
Steal the future from the blind
Cut away in the camera
To the baby in the crash
Cut away the circus
You cut away the flesh
Algorithms dancing
But we still fall on our knees
I leave the blues behind me
'Cause here's that reprise
Here comes that reprise
I'm looking for the happy
I'm looking for the happy
Find the happy in me
I have more than enough
When my life is getting tough
And I'm not happy
Hey, hey
And I can see it in your face
It's so clear you've found your place
You've got the happy
Hey, hey
Look at this
'Cause here's that reprise
Here comes that reprise
I'm looking for the happy
I'm looking for the happy
Find the happy in me
I have more than enough
When my life is getting tough
And I'm not happy
Hey, hey
And I can see it in your face
It's so clear you've found your place
You've got the happy
Hey, hey
Look at this
I started listening
Listening to the animals
I'm trying to understand
Trying to build this sense of trust
With compassion and respect
And nothing underhand
And the rhythm and the verse
For better and for worse
I can feel it now
All the weird within the wild
The ageless and the tired
They can feel it now
Cut away in the camera
To the baby in the crash
Cut away the circus
You cut away the flesh
Algorithms dancing
But we still fall on our knees
I leave the blues behind me
'Cause here's that reprise
Here comes that reprise
I'm looking for the happy
I'm looking for the happy
Find the happy in me
We move together now
Put away those bones
Gonna rattle those bones (Rattle those bones)
I have more than enough
When my life is getting tough
When I've got the happy
Hey, hey
And I can see it in your face
But we still fall on our knees
I leave the blues behind me
'Cause here's that reprise
Here comes that reprise
I'm looking for the happy
I'm looking for the happy
Find the happy in me
We move together now
Put away those bones
Gonna rattle those bones (Rattle those bones)
I have more than enough
When my life is getting tough
When I've got the happy
Hey, hey
And I can see it in your face
It's so clear you've found your place
You've got the happy
Hey, hey
Happy to live
Happy to love
Happy to give
Giving out love
Happy to live
Happy to love
Happy to give
Giving out this love
There's no one here to chase us now
It doesn't matter what the pace is
They got happy
And you're burning through the deepest blues
You've got the happy
Hey, hey
Happy to live
Happy to love
Happy to give
Giving out love
Happy to live
Happy to love
Happy to give
Giving out this love
There's no one here to chase us now
It doesn't matter what the pace is
They got happy
And you're burning through the deepest blues
Now you're putting on your dancing shoes
We got happy
‘Cos I got happy
And I'm sitting by the old oak tree
With the comfort of a cup of tea
And it's creeping through my body
There's the tapping of my toes
My senses waking up now
In my ears, my eyes and nose
We're dancing on the riverbank
And we're jumping in the sea
(Love is spread around me)
Happy, found some happy in me
(Love is spread around me)
Found some happy in me
We got happy
‘Cos I got happy
And I'm sitting by the old oak tree
With the comfort of a cup of tea
And it's creeping through my body
There's the tapping of my toes
My senses waking up now
In my ears, my eyes and nose
We're dancing on the riverbank
And we're jumping in the sea
(Love is spread around me)
Happy, found some happy in me
(Love is spread around me)
Found some happy in me
(Love is spread around me)
Found some happy
(Love is spread around me)
Found some happy
Happy in me
Found some happy
(Love is spread around me)
Found some happy
Happy in me
"Looking for the Happy" — chercher le bonheur — sonne presque candide, presque enfantin.
