Static, there's static in my brain
And the ceiling hasn't changed
I'm sweating profusely
I'm sweating profusely

Static, there's static in my brain
And the ceiling hasn't changed
I'm sweating profusely
It's been hours since it's been three days
And I'm starting to second guess
I'm sweating profusely
Erratic, I've been acting erratic
And time feels elastic
I'm sweating profusely
A momentary void in my head
For the promess of better days
I'm doing it, yeah I'm doing it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it-
I'm doing it to myself

Light-headed, barely thinking
Cloudy June day, the air is heavy
The wrinkles of my mattress
Are engraved across my back skin
Misty lungs, painful pulsations
I can feel it in my head
A clenched jaw, an open carcass
I can feel the blood
I can taste the blood

Sweat, I'm breathing sweat, I'm breathing sweat
I'm breathing sweat, it's been 5 days, 4 or
Maybe still 3, it's hard not to focus on
Anything
Sweat, I'm breathing sweat, I'm breathing sweat
I'm breathing sweat, everything's sweat
I need a jumpcut
Everything's a jump-cut
A constant back and forth
A constant back and forth
A constant back and forth
I must be psychotic
Maybe I'm at fault, nobody reacts like that
Nobody sees a shadow hanging around the
Corner at night, nobody, nobody

I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen
I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen
I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen
I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen
I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen
I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen
I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen
I wish to see the sun, I wish to see the sun
It burns my skin to mush, I need oxygen

A rabbit on its back
A rabbit on its back!

[PART II]

I've been choking on chalk
Biting the corners of my sink
Like a slug covered in salt
Wrigglin' like a fucking eel
A rabbit on its back
Was it just an attack
Or just the withdrawals
Should I trust the feeling
'Cause it's always a gamble
It's been six years with a crutch
It's all I really know
Most stop after six months
Did I stunt my growth?
And clarity will come
And I will probably suffer
As I swim to the surface
I'm drenched in confusion
I see veils covering the horizon
With a concerning shade of purple
But if I trusted my instincts
I would have never left my home
I think I touched it

I know you're scared of what goes on in my head
I know I see it as never ending

I'm receding, ever-changing
Against the rising tides
You're vanishing from my mattress
But I still left your place intact
Sometimes change isn't expected
It happens in random impulses
I can feel it across my chicken skin
I opened up the pig's cage

I don't want you to be scared
No I don't want you to be alone
I don't want you to be scared
No, I don't want to die no more
I don't want you to be scared
No I don't want you to be alone
I don't want you to be scared
No, I don't want to die no more

Like a snake shedding its skin
Through pain I'll be born anew
It's my first step towards happiness
Short term excruciating pain
For the promise of a long term gain
It's my first step towards happiness

(Is it worth it?)
(Is it worth it?)
